Job Description

The NYC office of a preeminent, global law firm is looking for a Professional Development Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR within a law firm and will work closely with the Director of Professional Development and Senior Managers to develop and implement high-quality, firm-wide training programs in a supportive environment. This is a hybrid position (in-office 4 days/week).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Training Design and Coordination: Ensure the professionalism and high quality of training programs, including logistics, materials, CLE compliance, and event support.
  2. Department-wide Administration Management: Maintain and update training databases, calendars, and resource centers; collaborate on training initiatives; respond to attorney inquiries; provide backup support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 2 years of administrative or HR experience in a law firm
  • Experience in training, legal personnel, recruitment, or talent management is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and relevant software; familiarity with iManage/DeskSite and CE Manager preferred
