Restaurant Associates, a leading dining and event catering provider, has an opening for a full-time Cook at World Bank Group, 1818 H Street NW, Washington, DC 20433. Location: Washington, DC. Schedule: full-time; Monday through Friday, hours may vary.

Compensation: $25.55 per hour with benefits. This role requires excellent knife skills, strict recipe adherence and prior kitchen sanitation experience. HACCP standards apply, and duties include food prep, service, and safe operation of kitchen

Qualifications

• Must have excellent knife skills and recipe adherence.
• Previous kitchen sanitation experience is required.
• Ability to follow HACCP standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and maintaining temperature and presentation.
• Ensures proper records and maintains cleanliness; follows safe food-handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized; assists in ordering and receiving supplies.
• Maintains equipment and supports production planning, reporting and documentation as required.
• Adheres to company policies and participates in safety meetings; communicates maintenance needs promptly.
