Job summary

Primrose School of Silicon Forest in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking a Lead Teacher to nurture curiosity and development in children aged 1–5 using the Balanced Learning curriculum.

You will build strong relationships with children and families, support classroom activities, and collaborate with a co-teacher to deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in a low-ratio setting. This role emphasizes safety, care, and a passion for early childhood education.

Qualifications

• CDA or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 1-3 years of classroom/teaching experience.
• Ability to manage a classroom of 20 Preschoolers with a co-teacher.
• Safe sleep certification required or willingness to obtain one.
• CPR & First aid certification required or willingness to obtain one.
• Active Central Background Registry (CBR) enrollment requirement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials that support exploration and learning through play.
• Work with a co-teacher to implement the Balanced Learning curriculum.
