Job summary

Primrose School of Castle Rock is seeking a dedicated Teacher to guide infants and preschoolers in a safe, stimulating classroom daily schedule designed to build confidence and independence.

You will support the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum, supervising small groups and fostering growth across language, literacy, science, and life skills. The role offers a consistent Mon–Fri schedule with weekends off and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must meet credential requirements from Colorado Shines
• Assistant Teacher: PDIS Level 1
• Lead Teacher: PDIS Level 2+ OR EQUIT, Pyramid Plus, ECE 101/303, AS/BS Degree in ECE, or equivalent
• 1-3 years experience teaching in a licensed early education program, PreK, preschool, childcare, or day care
• Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
• Assesses each children's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
• Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
• Plans with a member of the Leadership Team the parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.
• Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Castle Rock, and the local, state, or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children in childcare or daycare.

As a Teacher at the Primrose School of Castle Rock youll create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop childrens confidence and independence. Our Teachers guide infants and preschool aged children through small group instruction as they grow their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information.
