Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Profee Coder, Wound Care for a remote role in Florida. The position involves collaborating with multiple departments to resolve charging issues and denials while ensuring accurate billing and physician documentation clarifications. Reports to the Regional Coding Manager and supports various department needs.

The assignment lasts 12 weeks, with a full-time 40-hour workweek. EPIC proficiency and 3–5 years of relevant experience are required. Start date: 11/9/2026.

• Proficient in EMR coding using EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Admitting, Charging, Patient Financial Services, HIM, and other departments to resolve charging issues and denials.
• Clarify physician documentation and support accurate billing to reduce denials.
• Report to Regional Coding Manager and assist in other department tasks as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY - Profee Coder, Wound Care (Remote)

POSITION DUTIES -

Coder will work collaboratively with various departments (Admitting, Charging, Patient Financial Services, HIM, etc.) to resolve charging issues, denials, and physician documentation clarifications, to ensure accurate billing and reduce denials. Coder will also assist in other areas of the department as requested by leadership. Coder will report directly to their Regional Coding Manager

Minimum Required Qualifications

3-5 years relevant experience

Must be EMR/Coding proficient using EPIC
