Job Details: Job Location: MON - MONROETON, PA 18832, Position Type: Full Time, The Regional Operations Manager – Environmental Services serves as the chief operational, commercial, and financial leader for their assigned regional business unit. This role exercises full ownership over the regional Profit & P&L, financial expenditures, regional revenue growth, sales/business development, customer account collections, proposal estimation and authoring, master project scheduling, and comprehensive oversight of all field personnel and equipment assets assigned to their territory.
Operating under the executive leadership of the Director of Environmental Services, the Regional Operations Manager directs the safe and compliant execution of in-situ and ex-situ environmental remediation, emergency spill response, industrial field services, waste management, and heavy yellow-iron operations. The ideal candidate must possess an advanced operational understanding of Federal, State, and Local regulatory frameworks (i.e., OSHA, DOT, EPA, Ohio EPA, PADEP, WVDEP, TCEQ, and NMED). The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining strict corporate HSE enforcement, mentoring supervisory personnel, managing commercial client relationships, and scaling regional profitability.
This position involves a balanced executive operational commitment with an expectation of an approximate 50/50% field-to-office ratio across the regional operating footprint. As the senior regional operational authority, this position carries overall 24/7/365 accountability for regional emergency spill incidents, major operational escalations, and incident response deployments. Frequent regional travel is required across all client facilities, job sites, and regulatory field offices within the assigned geographic territory.
