Job summary

Techoundsllc is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Supervisor in Huntington Beach to oversee daily operations, train and schedule 40+ staff, and ensure compliance with ISO/QS and IPC standards.

The role requires extensive experience in electronics manufacturing, conformal coating, and ability to read customer drawings; strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US under ITAR.
• High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• At least 5 years in electronics manufacturing.
• 3 years experience in conformal coating and potting.
• Working knowledge of AS9100, IPC-610, IPC-830, and NADCAP.
• Ability to identify electrical components.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong documentation, planning, and organizational skills.
• Leadership and weekend/evening availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations and resolve issues.
• Supervise production activities with training, scheduling and assignments.

• Read and interpret customer drawings.
• Ensure conformal coating and potting per drawings.
• Monitor productivity, quality and process standards.
• Maintain production schedules and resolve schedule issues.
• Track and report production, shipping, WIP, labor, and movement.
• Engage in performance management for 40+ direct reports.
• Coordinate with operations, quality, and customer service to ensure timely shipping.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations and resolve issues as they arise
• Supervise the activities of production with responsibility for training, scheduling and work assignments
• Ensure ISO/QS and standardized work environment policies are followed
• Read and interpret customer supplied drawings
• Assure compliance to customer supplied drawing for masking, Staking, Potting, and application of conformal coatings to electronic assemblies
• Monitor work areas to ensure productivity, quality and process standards are being followed
• Ensure production schedules are being met, and resolve any possible production schedule issues
• Track and report on production, shipping schedules, work-in-processes, labor and product movement
• Engage in performance management for 40+ direct reports
• Communicate with operations manager, quality supervisor, and customer service to ensure timely shipping of compliant products
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the US under ITAR
• High School Diploma/GED, college graduate preferred
• 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• 5 years experience in electronics manufacturing
• 3 years experience in conformal coating and potting
