TECHSTAFF of AZ in Scottsdale seeks a coordinated manufacturing administrator to link purchasing, production, engineering, quality, and test. You will track jobs from kit to shipment, ensure travelers are complete, and keep the Manufacturing Manager informed.
You will also program electronic devices before assembly. This role is coordination-focused, not supervisory; you report to the Manufacturing Manager who sets production priorities.
You will be the link between manufacturing and purchasing, sales, engineering, quality, and test. You will track every job from kit to shipment, work with each department to resolve the issues that hold jobs up, make sure every traveler is complete and signed, and keep the Manufacturing Manager informed. You will also program electronic devices before they are assembled.
This is a coordination role, not a supervisory one. You report to the Manufacturing Manager, who sets production priorities.
Work with purchasing on shortages and late material, and with sales on ship dates and customer requirements.
Work with engineering on drawing, revision, and build questions; with quality on holds and nonconformances; with test on failures and results.
Log each issue, bring the right people together, and follow up until it is closed. Escalate what cannot be resolved.
Keep job status current in our ERP system (Fulcrum) and on the shop status board.
Walk the floor each morning; send the Manufacturing Manager a short daily status.
Flag part shortages, holds, and schedule risks as soon as you find them.
Issue travelers with the correct revision; make sure every step is signed off.
Collect first-article, inspection, and test results and confirm they are complete.
Do the final review of every job before it ships; prepare Certificates of Conformance.
Maintain lot and serial traceability, nonconformance paperwork, and return (RMA) records.
File production records to AS9100 requirements.
Program devices before assembly using approved files and work instructions.
Track manufacturing supplies and scrap; request reorders before stock runs out.
