Responsibilities

Howmet Engines produces aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, including airfoils, rings, disks, and forgings. We specialize in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing for high-performance parts that support quieter, more fuel-efficient aero engines and cleaner power generation. Howmet Dover Casting supplies complex, investment-cast turbine airfoils and other components for the aerospace and industrial gas turbine industries. Howmet Dover Alloy provides vacuum and air-melted nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys to aerospace, gas turbine, medical, and high-tech industrial markets.

We are currently seeking a Wax Machine Operator to join our Dover Casting team in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours are Afternoon Shift (Monday to Friday, 2:00-10:00 PM). Training will be on the Day shift, M-F, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Starting hourly rate: $22.44; after 12 months: $24.92. A shift premium applies when working off-shift. Benefits include paid vacations, holidays, 401(k) with company match, health benefits, life insurance, EAP, tuition assistance, and free gym membership.

Position Overview

The wax machine operator injects wax patterns in collaboration with the wax department.

Environmental Health & Safety Responsibilities

• Implement EHS policies and values.
• Comply with all EHS regulations.
• Wear PPE and report injuries or safety concerns.
• Attend EHS training.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate automatic wax injection machines repeatedly.
• Prepare patterns for inspection.
• Perform visual quality inspections.
• Deflash solid patterns.

Interpersonal Responsibilities

Interact internally with engineering, quality, and wax department staff.

Physical Demands & Equipment

• Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Stand up to 8 hours.
