Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Southwest is seeking a production worker to bend, cut, bundle, and load reinforcing steel bars according to customer orders. You will be trained by a mentor on safe use of all machinery in an outdoor setting.

Applicants should readily read basic safety instructions, perform simple math, and be prepared for overtime as needed. The role requires working in a noisy, dusty environment with physical tasks and adherence to safety policies.

Purpose:

A rebar production worker at Nucor Rebar Fabrication will bend, cut, bundle, and load reinforcing steel bars in accordance with customers’ orders. You’ll work with a mentor who will train you on safely using all machinery.

Candidates must be able to work in an outdoor environment. Previous work in construction and landscaping is a huge plus; candidates with previous trades experience tend to be successful in the role and may have a significant opportunity for advancement within the organization.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be age 18 or over
• Due to the operating conditions of the position, this is a safety-sensitive position, you must pass a drug test, including THC
