ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a temporary 2nd shift worker in Houston to support production operations. Duties include operating machinery, handling materials, and ensuring clean work areas while meeting quality standards.

This position runs Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with potential for full-time hire with benefits. The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and is typical for manufacturing environments.

Responsabilités

• Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
• Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
• Mark or tag identification on parts.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, cleaning work areas and equipment, and cleaning of doors and frame components.
• Clean and lubricate equipment.
• Record information such as the number of products inspected, and dates and times of product production.
• Other assigned tasks at direction of Supervision.

Job Summary
