Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Production Worker for a temporary 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM). You will operate machinery, load and unload materials, inspect products, and support the team in maintaining a clean, safe production area.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and basic mechanical aptitude. Potential exists for full-time hire with benefits, and the environment is a standard manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical measurements.
• Basic awareness of production processes, quality control, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Observe equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notify operators.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or with hoists.
• Count finished products to determine order completion."
• Mark or tag identification on parts.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Support others by supplying or holding materials and tools, cleaning work areas and equipment.
• Clean and lubricate equipment.
• Record production data (numbers, dates, times).
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
