Job summary

A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. in Elizabethton, TN is seeking a Production Worker/Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. You will set up and operate CNC and manual machines, load/unload equipment, inspect parts and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Wages start at $19.89 with 6-month increases, plus a $1.50 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. A $2000 retention bonus is offered, along with major medical, dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k), PTO and holidays, and other company benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual and/or CNC lathes, mills or machining centers preferred.
• We are willing to train the right candidate.

• Set up and operate both CNC and manual machines.
• Load and unload production equipment, perform quality inspections on parts and handle a fast paced work environment.
• Assemble, test and package a variety of manufacturing products.
• Check parts for conformance to specifications.

We currently have multiple production opportunities on 2nd shift at our facility in Elizabethton, TN and are looking for great people who are interested in helping our boss – the customer.

Overview:

• Wages start at $19.89 with increases every 6 months as you move up the wage scale.
• Shift Differential - $1.50 for 2nd shift and 3rd shift
• $2000 Retention Bonus - $500 at 90 days, $500 at 180 days, and $1000 at 365 days of employment.
