A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. in Elizabethton, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd or 3rd shift. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing all factory machinery and equipment to keep daily operations running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and may involve CNC machinery. A 2- or 4-year maintenance degree or equivalent experience is preferred; strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing equipment including CNC machines.
• Two- or four-year degree in maintenance related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

Summary:

This position is responsible for all maintenance aspects related to day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility.

This position is responsible for all maintenance aspects related to day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Installing, maintaining and repairing all machinery/equipment along with the upkeep of the actual physical structure and grounds associated with the operation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance.
• Prior experience associated with the repair of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems that make up various types of manufacturing equipment including CNC machinery.
• Two- or four-year degree in maintenance related program of study preferred although an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
