Job summary

A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. is hiring for a Production Worker/Machine Operator on 2nd shift at our Elizabethton, TN facility. You will set up and operate CNC and manual machines, load/unload equipment, inspect parts, and maintain a fast-paced work environment.

Starting wage is $19.89 per hour with raises every 6 months, plus shift differential and a retention bonus program. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual and/or CNC lathes, mills or machining centers preferred.
• We are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate both CNC and manual machines.
• Load and unload production equipment, perform quality inspections on parts and handle a fast paced work environment.
• Assemble, test and package a variety of manufacturing products.
• Check parts for conformance to specifications.
• Positions will be primarily on 2nd shift.
