Job description

Position: Production Associate

Location: Frenchville, NJ

Wage: $18.54/hr plus a second shift differential of $0.25 per hour

Shift: 2nd shift, 3pm-11pm, Monday - Friday (overtime may be required)

Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, as a Production Worker, you will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment following standard operating procedures. Your responsibilities include assisting in various manufacturing areas, striving to meet plant goals and customer requirements, with safety as the top priority.

Responsibilities include:

• Manually catch bundles and palletize finished products
• Examine products for quality standards
• Monitor equipment for malfunctions and notify operators
• Lift raw materials, unfinished products, and packed items manually
• Count finished products to ensure order completeness
• Mark or tag identification on parts
• Load and unload items from machines to conveyors
• Assist production workers by performing tasks such as supplying materials, cleaning, etc.
• Record production data, including dates and times

Qualifications:

• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and work well in a team
• Knowledge of or ability to learn safety rules, operating policies, and procedures
• Reliable with good attendance
• High physical coordination and manual dexterity, able to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
