Job Opportunity: 2nd Shift Machine Operator

The Advance Group is currently hiring a 2nd shift Machine Operator for a steel tube and bar facility located in Holland, OH. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating various machines.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

• Operate a variety of machinery
• Read rulers and calipers, perform mathematical calculations
• Bend and lift steel tubing repetitively and quickly
• Load and unload steel tubes on production lines
• Perform quality inspections

Compensation:

• $18/hour plus a $2/hour shift premium for 2nd shift

Work Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Training on 1st shift for up to 1 month before transitioning to 2nd shift (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Overtime on Saturdays if needed

Requirements:

• Prior machine operating experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable standing all day and working in hot, loud environments
• Experience with micrometers and calipers is preferred
• Ability to pass a drug screen and extensive background check
