Job summary

Smurfit WestRock in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. Available shifts: 2nd and 3rd, with starting wages from $20.84 per hour and scheduled increases after 60 days up to $27.17 per hour.

You will operate manufacturing equipment safely, maintain a clean work area, and support production with basic math, reading tape measures, and basic computer skills. OT, weekend shifts, and lifting up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math operations.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely following instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Read a tape measure and perform basic math as needed.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and be able to stand for long periods.
• Work daily overtime and various shifts when required.

Available Shift(s): 2nd & 3rd

Starting Wage Range: $20.84 per hour, with scheduled increases after 60 days up to a maximum of $27.17 per hour.

Primary Duties Include

• Operating manufacturing equipment/powered equipment safely and follow specific directions
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, life, reach, kneel, and stand for up to 12 hrs. a day.
• Must be able to push, pull or lift to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Required to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on workload.
• Must be willing to work any available shift.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Other duties as assigned
