Job Title: Production Worker at Huhtamaki

Huhtamaki is a global provider of sustainable packaging solutions for consumers worldwide, focusing on wellbeing and convenience. We manufacture products that protect food and beverages, ensuring hygiene and safety, and aim to reduce food waste.

Responsibilities

1. Safely set up, start up, adjust, and shut down production machines.
2. Stand and walk around production equipment; perform bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) frequently.
3. Maintain good eye/hand coordination and color recognition.
4. Work in ambient temperatures in a fast-paced environment.
5. Troubleshoot minor machine issues.
6. Follow safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and maintain production and quality standards.
7. Assist with cleaning, sweeping, packing, palletizing, painting, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Related education or certifications (e.g., Vocational Training, Community College, A.A.S. Degree) are preferred.
• 1-3 years of machine operator experience is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with automated machinery.
• Industrial experience in manufacturing, trades, or related fields is a plus.
• Military experience or discharge status is also considered.

Compensation ranges from $18.56 to $21.95 per hour, depending on the position.
