Job summary

Silgan Containers Mfg Corp is hiring Production Workers for our Ft. Dodge, IA plant. The role involves operating and monitoring semi-automated production lines and palletizing finished goods to meet production targets.

We provide training to become certified in Forklift Driver, Palletizer Operator, and Packaging Operator roles, with growth opportunities and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage and a 401(k) match. Overtime is available as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor semi-automated production equipment, ensuring efficient machine operation and accurate material feeds into equipment.
• Perform palletizing tasks using semi-automated palletizer equipment, efficiently stacking finished products on pallets to meet production needs and safety standards.
• Assist with various manufacturing operations tasks, including clean-up duties, part sorting, and acting as a relief operator when necessary.
• Receive training to become a Certified Forklift Driver, Palletizer Operator, and Packaging Operator, achieving ongoing growth and development milestones within the role.
• Contribute to additional production tasks as assigned by management, helping maintain a smooth and safe manufacturing process.
