Smurfit Westrock, a leader in sustainable packaging, seeks a Production Worker in El Paso, TX. Primary duties include safely performing tasks such as stacking corrugated product, conducting quality checks, and setting up materials while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to safety, quick to learn manufacturing processes, and eager to advance within the company. Must be available for all shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Corrugated box manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong desire to advance within the facility.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work all shifts (1st/2nd/3rd).

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment following directions and use power hand tools.
• Maintain a clean work environment and safe workspace.
• Read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Comply with safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
• Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs; stand, bend, and climb stairs throughout shift.
• Work daily overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific direction, operate power hand tools, and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.
• Ability to lift, push or pull 50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.
• Must be able to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on your position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be available to work all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts)
• Experience working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
• Corrugated box manufacturing experience a plus
• A strong desire to advance within the facility
• High School diploma or GED equivalent

Pay range for this position is $ 17.19 an hour, the benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentives, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number or programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience and education.
