• Pay Rate: $13-$14/hour

Position Summary

The Production Worker reports directly to the Cellar Master & Winemaker and is responsible for all aspects of cellar work.

Essential Functions

• Clean and sanitize winemaking equipment and cellar
• Assist with crushing and pressing processes
• Perform daily pump overs during fermentation
• Assist with bottling and packaging
• Manage barrel filling and cellar organization
• Handle winery chemicals and additives properly
• Support special events and harvest duties
• Perform vineyard work as needed
• Assist other departments as required

Qualifications

• Familiarity with cellar equipment and operations
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to operate tractor and forklift
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/move up to 50 pounds. Long periods of standing and various vision abilities are necessary.
