Position Title: Production Worker



Wage: $20.00/hour



Shift: 1st



Hours: 7:45am - 4:15pm



QPS Employment Group is looking for a reliable and motivated Production Worker to join a reputable metal fabrication company in Bensenville, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks across multiple production areas. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, have a strong work ethic, and possess the ability to operate machinery while assisting with shop activities as needed. Production Worker Responsibilities:

- Pack products for shipment, ensuring quality control and proper labeling

- Operate and maintain machinery in the production area, including shearing machines, slip rollers, and grinders, ensuring smooth and accurate processing of parts

- Clean parts as required, ensuring all components are free from contaminants, and perform taping tasks as part of the finishing process

- Provide support in the shop area by assisting with machine setups, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and helping colleagues as needed

- Operate shearing equipment to cut metal or other materials according to specifications

- Use slip rolling equipment to form or shape materials as required for production

- Assist with grinding and polishing parts to meet the required finish and quality standards



Requirements for Production Worker:

- High School diploma or equivalent

- At least two years of prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment

- Ability to lift 50lbs

- Ability to work safely and efficiently with various machines and tools

- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods

- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
