Job summary

LaborPRO Staffing in Elk Grove Village, IL is hiring a Production Welder focused on MIG (GMAW) and steel fabrication. You’ll translate drawings into precise welds and assemblies, ensuring quality and conformance to blueprints and work orders on a fast-moving production line.

We seek candidates with at least two years of welding experience in manufacturing, strong blueprint-reading skills, strict attention to detail, and solid adherence to welding safety procedures and PPE.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of welding experience in manufacturing.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Execute MIG welds on steel and other metals to exact specifications and industry standards.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to plan sequences and verify dimensions.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures.
• Inspect and validate weld quality, ensuring compliance before release.
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Uphold a clean, orderly workstation and follow all safety protocols.
• Partner with teammates and supervisors to meet production schedules and goals.
