Job Description

Urgently hiring for our client in Plant City for an experienced Production MIG Welder. Are you experienced with welding; thin gauge .045 hard wire in 2 positions? Flat weld & vertical down? If yes, then this is the career for you. Apply today. Scheduling interviews next week.

Working hours are Monday through Friday 7AM - 3:30PM (when overtime is required, hours will be 6AM - 4:30PM).

Pay is based on experience and the must-have qualifications listed below: $17-$19 an hour.

MUST HAVES / SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:

1. Must Have 2 plus years welding experience, Required
2. Formal Training (previous employer) or Schooling (Welding Certificate)
3. Must be able to read blueprints and tape measure
4. Must Have Reliable Transportation
5. Must be able to work Overtime when needed
6. Must be able to pass drug test and background check
7. Must have/own all Welding Gear and PPE gear.

Responsibilities/Duties:

1. Weld, tack, & fabricate products with blueprints as reference
2. Grind & prepare units
3. Refurbish used equipment
4. Cut, grind, weld & replace rusted & damaged steel in used pieces of equipment
5. Material handling when raw material shipments arrive
6. Maintain a clean & neat work station (sweeping, cleaning, and preventative maintenance of equipment)
7. Follow all safety measures at all times.
