Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Production Welder to join our Ophthalmic & Precision Solutions team. The welder will perform MIG and TIG welding to print specifications, using light gauge steel, stainless steel, or aluminum. A candidate with 3–5 years of experience in a production ISO setting is preferred.

The role requires the ability to read prints, work with hand tools, and operate equipment safely in a team environment while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years welding experience in an ISO production environment.
  • Able to read welding/assembly prints.
  • Capable of physical work and moving up to 50 lb materials.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision among other welders.

Responsibilities

  • Weld metal components to print using MIG and TIG processes.
  • Finish parts to print specifications and material requirements.
  • Work with light gauge steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.
  • Follow safety protocols and ISO workplace rules.

Job Description:

TMC is the leader in precision floor vibration isolation technology serving major research centers, OEM and end-user semiconductor manufacturers, university research laboratories, drug discovery companies, and nanotechnology labs.We are actively seeking qualified candidates as aProduction Welder.

The Production Welder will weld a variety of metal components and finish parts to print. The work is 50% MIG and 50% TIG. The welder will work with a variety of materials to include: Light gauge steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.

  • The successful candidate should have 3-5 years prior experience and be familiar with the safe use of basic hand and power tools, such as grinders and deburring equipment along with the safe use of hoists and pallett jacks.
  • Must be able to understand and follow welding and assembly prints.
  • The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision around other welders in a production ISO environment. The manufacturing facility has all safety measures in place.
  • The workcan be physical and require the movement of metal up to 50 pounds, standing, reaching, and frequent bending.
Compensation

Employee Type: Hourly

Currency: USD

Salary Minimum: 50,000

Salary Maximum: 65,000
