Responsibilities

• Follow instructions in the work order and verify final product meets specifications.
• Setup and complete jobs according to blueprints, drawings, and process sheets while welding components using Auto‑TIG and Hand‑TIG.
• Check welds visually and dimensionally with measuring instruments to confirm compliance with blueprints and specifications.
• Organize the work and storage area for efficient workflow.
• Perform cross‑sectioning and etching of weld samples.
• Cross‑train for testing and mechanical assembly tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull at least 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good hand‑eye coordination.
• At least 1 year of TIG welding experience or completion of an accredited welding program.
