Dexter Laundry, Inc. is seeking a Production Welder to support daily manufacturing schedules and production goals. The role requires advanced MIG and TIG welding skills, and the candidate will mentor other welders while upholding safety and craftsmanship.

You will collaborate across departments to align with production timelines and models being produced, ensuring quality and efficiency on the shop floor. A strong emphasis on safety practices and documentation is expected in this position.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Welding Technician Diploma preferred.
• Associate degree in a technical field highly desirable.
• Combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.

Position Summary:

The Production Welder will work both independently and within team environments to support daily manufacturing schedules and production goals. This position ensures that quality, cost, delivery, and safety standards are consistently met.

The Production Welder is responsible for producing high-quality welds in all positions and must have advanced knowledge of welding equipment, jigs, fixtures, and welding processes (MIG and TIG). This role also serves as a mentor to other welders and is expected to lead by example in safety and craftsmanship.

The Production Welder collaborates with other manufacturing departments to support growth and product innovation, and understands the assembly line schedules for appropriate models being produced.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle objects/controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
• Must occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Work Environment:

• Noise level is moderate to heavy (above 85 dB).
• Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Additional Requirements:

• Must pass background check, physical, drug, and alcohol screenings.
