Job summary

JOLLY TIME Popcorn is seeking a Production Waste & Cleaning Crew Member to help keep Building 41 (Microwave) clean and orderly while supporting food manufacturing operations.

You will weigh popcorn production waste, sweep the production floor, wash mats and containers, and track waste with required paperwork. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to follow detailed procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cleaning, sanitation, or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math, including addition and subtraction, and accurately record measurements.
• Ability to identify and resolve routine problems while working independently.

Responsibilities

Our Production Waste & Cleaning Crew Member is responsible for keeping the areas of Building 41(Microwave) clean and orderly by performing the following essential functions:

Essential Functions:

• Weigh popcorn production waste
• Sweeping production floor to maintain a clean work environment
• Washing mats, trash cans, floor, etc.
• Track waste and complete required paperwork
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling, climbing stairs, and repetitive movement. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cleaning, sanitation, or food manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform basic math, including addition and subtraction, and accurately record measurements such as weight, volume, and distance.
• Ability to identify and resolve routine problems while working independently and following established procedures.
