Job summary

American Pop Corn Company is seeking hard-working, dependable people to join our team as Production Waste & Cleaning Crew Members. This role keeps Building 41 (Microwave) clean and orderly by weighing production waste, sweeping the floor, washing mats and trash cans, and tracking waste with required paperwork.

Education: high school diploma or equivalent is required; prior cleaning, sanitation, or food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cleaning, sanitation, or food manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform basic math, including addition and subtraction, and accurately record measurements such as weight, volume, and distance.
• Ability to identify and resolve routine problems while working independently and following established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Weigh popcorn production waste.
• Sweep production floor to maintain a clean work environment.
• Wash mats, trash cans, floor, etc.
• Track waste and complete required paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Our Production Waste & Cleaning Crew Member is responsible for keeping the areas of Building 41(Microwave) clean and orderly by performing the following essential functions:

Essential Functions:

• Weigh popcorn production waste
• Sweeping production floor to maintain a clean work environment
• Washing mats, trash cans, floor, etc.
• Track waste and complete required paperwork
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling, climbing stairs, and repetitive movement. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
