Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a manufacturing line worker for a 12-hour overnight shift (7PM–7AM) in Easthampton, MA. You will feed product, inspect for quality defects, and pack finished goods into cartons or trays.

The role includes stacking, maintaining line supplies, and assisting technicians with routine maintenance and changeovers. The position offers hourly pay with a starting rate of $19.62/hr and a potential range between $17 and $24/hr, depending on experience and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform 12-hour rotating night shifts (7PM–7AM).
• Ability to perform setups and changeovers to equipment.
• Performs continual visual inspections and monitors quality.

Responsibilities

• Feed product onto conveyor or machine and discard defective pieces.
• Unload finished product and inspect for defects; pack into cartons or trays.
• Stack cartons/boxes/trays for shipping; maintain correct counts.
• Maintain supplies of corrugate; make boxes/trays as required.
• Assist Machine Technicians and clean ink stations, wells, pans, screens, knives, and squeegees.
• Clear minor jams and assist on changeovers with tooling.

Job DescriptionFeed product on to the conveyor or directly into the machine discarding any defective pieces.Unload finished product from the conveyor or machine cycle, visually inspecting for any obvious quality defects according to specifications and pack quality product in carton or tray.Stack cartons, boxes or trays on skid for shipping and maintain correct product count.Maintain adequate supply of corrugate on the line, make boxes and trays as requiredAbility to do setups and changeovers to manufacturing equipment in accordance with customer specifications.Provide assistance to Machine Technicians on various processes as neededCleaning ink stations, ink wells, coating pans, screens, ink knives and squeegeesWiping blanketsClearing minor jamsAssistance on C/O with toolingPerforms continual visual inspections of product, notifying appropriate team member of quality defects or machine malfunctions.Candidate should have mechanical ability.This is a 7PM – 7AM overnight position that follows a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $19.62/hr.; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience between $17 and $24/hr.Our ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
