Job summary

Amcor is seeking an experienced Print Technician for the Night Shift Production Team. You will ensure Dry Offset Printing machines run at optimum speeds (MEEF, EFF, Scrap %), produce high-quality parts, and support the team with troubleshooting and daily tasks.

The role requires 3–5 years of printer experience, bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, and a strong focus on GMP/HACCP and safety. Night shift duties include setup, color changes, and minor maintenance.

Qualifications

  • This role requires 3–5 years of previous Print Machine Technician experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Willingness to work on a night shift and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and maintain safe, clean work environment.
  • Maximize printing machine output via MEEF & EFF targets.
  • Support PMOTs with printer issues and routine duties.
  • Maintain tools per the Print Tech Tool List.
  • Set up color and size changes, change plates, and blanket trimming.
  • Perform minor maintenance and QC printing to standards.

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Print Technician to support our Night Shift Production Team. In this position, you will ensure that all Dry Offset Printing machines are running to optimum speeds (MEEF, EFF and Scrap %) and producing quality parts. This awesome Print Tech team takes pride in their safety mindset, troubleshooting and their attendance to maximize efficiency. English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred.Responsibilities:Verify and maintain a safe and clean work environment/cell.Ensure maximum output of printing machines through MEEF & EFF.Respond and assist PMOT’s with any issues on their printers or interfering with their job duties.Supply and maintain your own tools per the Print Tech Tool List.Work with the Shift Supervisor and Printing Technicians to ensure completion of daily tasks.Understand and administer all aspects of set-ups, color changes, plate changes, & size change.Parallel rollers & perform C.A.P. and other assigned duties.Perform minor maintenance repairs as designated by the Group Leader or ManagerChange and trim blankets.Clean and set-up color-heads.Mix inks if needed.Perform Printing Machine Operator duties when needed.Make Q.C print standards.Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and (HACCP) Practices.Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager.Must Know the Quality Policy and apply it to working practices.Must be able to work in a team environment and help others as needed.Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisor responsibilities.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. English/Spanish Bilingual skills preferred.Mathematical Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning Ability:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
