Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Business Unit Leader for a Sterling Heights, MI area facility to drive shift-based performance in a fast-paced, unionized manufacturing environment. You will build and lead cross-functional teams, coach supervisors, and ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery targets while implementing SIS processes and continuous improvement initiatives across the zone.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in operations management with 2+ years supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of operations management experience in a high-volume environment.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Lead shift activities and coordinate SIS initiatives.
• Ensure safety compliance and safe working environment.
• Achieve production targets and contribute to budget/forecast.
• Conduct audits and verify adherence to procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Facilitate communication between departments and leadership.
