Job summary

ABB Inc. Richmond, VA seeks an Integrated Production Unit Leader (IPU) to drive efficient and cost‑effective production across in-house and contract manufacturing.

Lead a production line, manage equipment, people, and processes, and ensure safety, quality, and on‑time delivery in alignment with demand plans. You will coordinate resources, implement lean improvements, support the Sales team during customer visits, and partner with Operational Excellence to embed lean principles in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Supply Chain or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership of production teams and fulfillment teams.
• Manufacturing experience and SAP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production unit or line to meet demand, schedule, quality, and safety targets.
• Organize and allocate resources to meet line production targets efficiently.
• Coordinate equipment, personnel and processes to ensure on-time delivery for in-house and contract manufacturing.
• Support Sales during customer visits to explain capabilities of the facilities.
