Job summary

Daily's Premium Meats LLC is seeking a Training Lead to coordinate floor training and provide skills-based instruction. You will assess needs, adapt delivery, and coach new hires toward proficiency using standardized SOPs.

You will train on safety and food safety, report progress daily, conduct one-on-one coaching, and help create onboarding plans with the Training Manager to improve retention in the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred; 6 months or more in a food production environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows all applicable safety rules and encourages safe behavior in others.
• Trains on all applicable safety and food safety and quality rules.
• Updates Management on current training objectives and results on a daily basis.
• Coordinates and provides one-on-one skills-based training to employees.
• Leads by modeling desired behaviors and coaches other employees to do the same.
• Identifies and uses training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.
