Job summary

Boar's Head Brand is seeking a Lead Person to run a specific area of production safely and efficiently. You will digest the daily schedule, communicate with operators, and enforce first-in-first-out product rotation to meet customer service standards.

The role requires proactive thinking, can handle pressure, and supports production supervisors toward goals while training others and troubleshooting issues. The position is in a cold, damp manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift 50–75 pounds.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with weekend shifts as production requires.
• Experience with forklift/tow motor operations.
• Experience with Oracle systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as assigned by department supervisor/manager.
• Operate and help maintain equipment within the area.
• Assist in reporting issues and recommend improvements to supervisors.
• Train and develop other employees as needed.
• Identify problems early and coach staff for appropriate action.
• Follow GMP, SOP, safety, and plant policies.
