Job summary

CORMETECH, Inc. in Durham, NC seeks a Training Coordinator to determine training needs, develop programs and ensure OSHA compliance.

The role supports organization-wide skills development and tracks documentation for personnel training, orientations, certifications, promotions and transfers. You will organize and conduct on-the-job and supervisory/management development trainings, coordinate external sources as needed, and monitor program effectiveness while maintaining records and supporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or associate degree preferred and relevant work experience
• Acceptable knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• The ability to work on his/her own and with a team
• The ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast pace environment
• Working knowledge in the area of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) guidelines preferred
• Knowledge of adult learning theory
• Flexibility to provide training on all shifts is required

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:
