Job summary

ZT Systems seeks a Production Test Engineer in Secaucus, NJ to ensure stable, high-volume test operations and fast resolution of issues. You will work with manufacturing, quality, IT, and engineering to diagnose failures and maintain production continuity.

Responsibilities include supporting daily test operations, escalating hardware issues, performing failure analyses, monitoring metrics, and developing test configurations and tools. You’ll also assist NPI readiness and train technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 1–3 years in production test or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving in hardware/server/test environments.
• Basic scripting for debugging/automation (Linux/Windows).
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends for process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production test operations to minimize downtime.
• Escalate test, hardware, and infrastructure issues in manufacturing.
• Perform failure analysis using logs, data, and experiments to identify root causes.
• Monitor and analyze test metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.
• Develop and maintain test configurations, tools, and utilities for testing and debugging.
• Support NPI by validating test readiness and ensuring smooth transition to mass production.
