Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, seeks a Production Test Engineer to ensure stable, efficient test operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will diagnose failures, minimize downtime, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, IT, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities include test metric analysis, configuring test tools, supporting NPI readiness, training technicians, and driving continuous improvements in yield and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in production test, manufacturing engineering, or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production test operations and rapidly resolve test failures.
• Act as first escalation point for test, hardware, and infrastructure issues in manufacturing.
• Perform failure analysis using test logs and experiments to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze test metrics (yield, failure trends, cycle time) to drive improvements.
• Develop and maintain test configuration, tools, and utilities to support testing and debugging.
• Partner with engineering, quality, and IT to optimize test flows and system performance.
• Enable and maintain test infrastructure to support production readiness.
• Support New Product Introduction by validating test readiness and ensuring smooth ramp.
• Train production technicians on troubleshooting methods and best practices.
