Job summary

TRUMPF is seeking a Production Test Engineer in Cranbury, NJ to lead testing and burn-in of diode laser devices and manage production equipment ownership. The role emphasizes process control, sustaining existing processes and supporting development of new ones, with strong problem-solving and leadership elements.

You will work on DOEs, yield improvement, and cost reduction projects, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with vendors for equipment upgrades, while using precise measurement

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands on experience testing diode lasers and laser systems.
• Experience in engineering support for manufacturing of laser products is desired.
• Extensive experience with SAS JMP, Minitab or other statistical software packages.

Engineer will be responsible for complete ownership of the production equipment, process control/sustaining of existing processes, supporting the development of new processes, support of maintenance for troubleshooting.
