Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Production Technician in Buda, TX for a contract-to-hire role with weekly pay. The position requires 2+ years of production experience in GMP/FDA environments and operation of packaging machinery.

Duties include loading materials, weighing ingredients, packaging products, and performing quality inspections to ensure compliance and accuracy. Work is in a climate-controlled facility with 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and bilingual capabilities are welcome.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general production experience in food/beverage or GMP/FDA-regulated environments.
• Experience operating production, filling, mixing, blending and packaging machinery.
• Load raw materials, weigh ingredients, and prepare powders per specs.
• Package finished products into capsules, pouches, bottles, and boxes.
• Perform quality inspections for weight, fill, seals, labels and appearance.
• Follow safety, GMP, sanitation and quality standards with proper documentation.

Job Description

PAY- -21.00$-23.00$/HR

LOC- Buda, TX, US

• 2+ years of general production experience , preferably in food/beverage manufacturing or a GMP/FDA-regulated environment.
• Experience operating production, filling, mixing, blending, and packaging machinery .
• Load raw materials, measure/weigh ingredients , formulate powders, and sort materials according to production specifications.
• Package finished products into capsules, pouches, bottles, and boxes while operating and monitoring sealing equipment.
• Perform quality inspections for correct weight, fill level, seals, labels, and appearance, while removing defective products.
• Follow safety, GMP, sanitation, and quality standards , including equipment cleaning, routine checks, and accurate production documentation.

• 10-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM , with front-half Sunday-Wednesday and back-half Wednesday-Saturday schedules.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buda, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
