Job summary

Nesco Resource in Henrietta, NY is hiring a Production Technician for a weekend shift with a leading renewable energy manufacturer. This long-term temp role focuses on hands-on assembly and safety, offering opportunities to develop manufacturing skills in a dynamic setting.

The position runs Friday–Sunday (3×12) from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM, paying $18.00–$20.00 per hour plus a 12% shift differential. Requires HS diploma and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; training in tool use and SOPs is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• 1 year manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
• Strong manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Overtime and flexible schedule required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Teamwork and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Hand assemble a variety of sub-systems and components.
• Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures and assembly instructions.
• Operate hand tools and power tools for assembly and validation work.
• Operate material handling equipment; training provided.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and problem-solving during manufacturing.
• Follow Environmental Health & Safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors.
• Complete manufacturing documentation as required.
