Reports To: Manager, Production; Manager, Facility Operations

Position Overview: Production Technicians are responsible for all aspects of plant processing from crop harvest through packaging and labeling of the final product ready for customer sale. Responsibilities include trimming, assembling product materials into containers and packages, and ensuring correct quantity, weight, and type of product. The role emphasizes timely work, productivity, professionalism, and proper use of facilities and equipment.

Pay: $18.81 + benefits

Schedule: Full time

This position will remain open until 1/27/2024, with potential extension.

Major Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in harvest and post-harvest processing of medical cannabis
  • Fan leaf removal, harvest, drying, trimming, curing, weighing, packaging, labeling, recording, inspection, cleaning, and sanitation
  • Maintaining a clean, organized work environment
  • Hand trimming fan leaves using shears or scissors
  • Transporting plants for drying and hanging
  • Operating trimming machines as needed
  • Weighing, packaging, labeling, and tracking cannabis for distribution
  • Following instructions and assisting management
  • Working efficiently and professionally
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
  • Maintaining confidentiality and discretion

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma
  • MED Badge
  • 1-3 years production experience
  • Knowledge of weights and measurements
  • Flexibility for evening, night, and weekend work
  • Discretion with confidential information
  • Speed, precision, attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and stay consistent
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, bend, climb, and lift up to 10 pounds or more with assistance

Additional Abilities:

  • Physical activity including prolonged sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting
  • Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, ability to perform repetitive motions accurately
  • Moderate noise environment
