Job summary

Ravago in Ohio is seeking a production associate to efficiently cut, bag and stack feedstocks while minimizing scrap and contamination. You will follow strict safety processes and use PPE as required, ensuring equipment and work areas meet company standards.

The role requires operating guillotine machinery, monitoring metal detectors and maintaining clean, organized work stations. Forklift experience is preferred for moving materials and pallets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience/license preferred.
• Prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate guillotine controls to cut material to specified sizes/weights.
• Check metal detector at shift start and after lunch to ensure no contamination.
• Visually inspect material for contamination during cutting and stacking.
• Neatly stack cut material using poly between layers to prevent sticking.
• Stack waste skids and cardboard for baling and disposal.
• Ensure containers are cleaned and free of old tickets/markings before use.
• Assist in cleanup during changeovers and shutdowns; maintain cleanliness of area and machinery.
• Inform Maintenance and Team Leader of any equipment issues.
