Job summary

Ravago in Ohio seeks a dedicated plant worker to efficiently cut, bag, and stack feedstocks, operating a guillotine and monitoring a metal detector. The role emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and adherence to environmental standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will follow PPE protocols, assist during changeovers, and communicate issues to maintenance and supervision. A high school diploma and forklift experience/license are preferred, with prior experience valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate guillotine controls to cut material to specified sizes.
• Cut material to specified sizes/weights and identify groups per mixing instructions.
• Check metal detector at start of shift and after lunch period.
• Visually inspect material during cutting and stacking for contamination.
• Stack cut material neatly using interlayers to prevent sticking.
• Follow safety, PPE and environmental regulations in daily tasks.
• Assist in cleanup during changeovers and shutdowns.
• Inform Maintenance of any equipment issues; notify Team Leader of problems.
