Job summary

Ravago is seeking a production worker in Ohio to efficiently cut, bag and stack feedstocks, while minimizing scrap and contamination. The role requires ensuring proper use of the metal detector, maintaining clean work areas, and following PPE and safety regulations.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or equivalent, forklift experience/license preferred, and prior experience in similar manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate guillotine controls to cut material to sizes/weights.
• Check metal detector at start of shift and after lunch.
• Visually inspect material for contamination during cutting and stacking.
• Neatly stack cut material with poly between layers to prevent sticking.
• Stack waste skids and cardboard for baler.
• Ensure containers are cleaned and markings removed before use.
• Assist in changeovers and shutdown cleanup.
• Maintain cleanliness of area and equipment.
• Report issues to Maintenance and Team Leader.
• Follow PPE procedures and safeguard company property.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations and 7S/Code of Conduct.
