Job summary

SONOCO CANADA Hartsville, SC is seeking a Production Worker to safely and efficiently assist machine tenders and support winding/finishing operations. You will operate hand-type equipment, load tubes, label them, and help with packing and scrap handling on rotating shifts.

We value a strong safety record, dependable attendance, and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. Fork truck experience is preferred; comprehensive benefits are provided to U.S. employees.

Qualifications

• Safe and efficient assistance to machine tenders in assigned operations.
• Operate small hand-type or simple equipment as needed.
• Load tubes on trucks and label them properly.
• Inspect and pack tubes and handle scrap.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine tenders with physical requirements of operations.
• Operate basic equipment as required.
• Load, label, and transport tubes as directed.
• Inspect finished tubes and prepare for shipment.
