Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Production Technician - Packaging for the 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am). You will read PMI/JSA, follow schedules, support safety, and ensure on-time shipments while maintaining accurate inventory.

Responsibilities include operating forklift equipment and handling shipping/receiving in Oracle/Wavefront systems. A High School diploma or GED, basic math, and ability to lift 40 lbs are required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and understand work instructions.
  • Basic math skills across units of measure.
  • Able to operate fork trucks, hoists, scales, and label machines.
  • Frequent standing/walking, lifting up to 40 lbs, and respirator use.

Responsibilities

  • Read PMI/JSA and schedules to perform daily production tasks.
  • Support safety initiatives and comply with policies.
  • Ensure customer shipments are filled on time and accurately.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and organized workspace.
  • Handle shipping/receiving in systems like Outlook, Oracle, Wavefront.
  • Operate forklift and material handling equipment.

What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will read, understand, and use Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMI’s), Job-Safety Analysis’ (JSA), and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks
  • Further you will support and participate in current and new safety initiatives/policies as business needs arise
  • You will ensure customer shipments are filled on time and in the correct quantities based on the purchase order requirements
  • Additionally, you will ensure inventory accuracy by performing basic math and maintaining an organized workspace
  • You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to complete tasks on-time while meeting all safety and quality requirements
  • You will perform the necessary steps required for shipping and receiving in computer systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Oracle and Wavefront
  • You will have the basic knowledge and understanding of fork trucks and associated material handling equipment
What Makes You Great

  • You also must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Additionally, you must be able to operate fork truck, electric hoist, scales, and label machines
  • Also, you should be comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping, crouching, climbing and capable of lifting 40lbs
  • You must be able to wear a full face or half face respirator
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite are preferred for this role
