Job summary

Werfen is seeking a skilled technician in Bedford, MA, to support the production of complex assemblies and instruments. The role requires performing electrical, mechanical and chemical processes under general supervision and contributing to production and quality objectives.

The candidate will work from specifications and will train and advise others while ensuring adherence to IL standards and 5S practices. OSHA-lifting capability is required, with a typical hourly range of $19–$24.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of experience in a comparable working environment.

Responsibilities

• Uses complex test equipment and performs highly technical procedures; works from specifications, schematics and instructions.
• Trains and advises less experienced technicians in troubleshooting and corrective action.
• Provides input to the team leader for technical problems.
• Ensures proper compliance with all standards and IL procedures.
• Performs accurate cycle count.
• Maintains 5S policies in their work areas.
• Performs other related duties as required.
