Job summary

Werfen in Bedford, MA is seeking a production equipment technician to support the manufacturing of medical devices in a cGMP environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electro‑mechanical systems, and work from schematics and instructions to resolve issues with complex manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with production staff to identify root causes, implementing improvements, and maintaining clean, compliant work areas; English as primary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or a trade/vocational diploma with relevant experience.
• Experience with electro‑mechanical equipment and manufacturing environments.
• Computer literacy with MS Office (Excel/Word) is required; English is primary language.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned repair & maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electro‑mechanical equipment using data and test equipment.
• Work from specifications, schematics and written/verbal instructions.
• Interact with production operators to understand failures and identify root cause.
• Review failure trends to identify long-term improvements for process.
• Perform and document all Preventive Maintenance procedures.
• Maintain work area and equipment to ensure parts/tools availability.
